Hektera (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates Hektera Ads (ads.hektera.com), a Google Ads campaign management tool with AI that integrates with Slack. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

2.1 Google Ads Data

When you connect your Google Ads account, we access campaign data through the Google Ads API, including but not limited to: campaign names and settings, ad group configurations, keyword lists, performance metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, spend), and account structure. This data is used solely to fulfill your campaign management and reporting requests.

2.2 Slack Workspace Data

We receive messages sent to the Hektera Ads Slack app, including commands and queries you send to the bot. We access your Slack user identity (user ID, display name) to enforce role-based access controls.

2.3 Account Information

When you register for access, we collect your name, business email address, and company name.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Execute Google Ads API requests on your behalf (campaign creation, management, reporting)
• Generate AI-powered insights and recommendations from your campaign data
• Deliver performance reports and alerts via Slack
• Maintain an audit log of all actions taken within your account
• Enforce user permissions and security controls
• Improve and optimize the Hektera Ads service
• Communicate with you about product updates and support

4. Google Ads API Data Usage

Hektera Ads uses the Google Ads API to programmatically access and manage your Google Ads campaigns. Specifically, we use the API to:

• Create campaigns — setting budgets, targeting, and ad content per your instructions
• Manage campaigns — pausing, enabling, adjusting bids and budgets, updating settings
• Retrieve reports — fetching performance data for AI analysis and Slack delivery

We do not sell, share, or license your Google Ads data to third parties. Data retrieved from the Google Ads API is used exclusively to provide the Hektera Ads service to you.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription. Cached Google Ads API responses are stored temporarily to improve performance and reduce API quota consumption. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at ads@hektera.com.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for OAuth tokens, and access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only. OAuth tokens for Google Ads API access are stored encrypted and are never exposed to end users.

7. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with Google Ads API (subject to Google's Privacy Policy) and Slack API (subject to Slack's Privacy Policy). We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.

• Disconnect the Hektera Ads Slack app from your workspace
